Reading Intervention Services
According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), nearly 65% of 4th graders in the United States are not reading at grade level. If your child is struggling to read, you are not alone.
Learning to read is not an instinctive process. Unlike speaking, our brains are not naturally wired for reading. These critical skills must be explicitly taught through direct, systematic instruction—a proven approach known as Structured Literacy.
Structured Literacy is grounded in decades of neurobiological research that reveals how the human brain learns to read. Unfortunately, most public schools do not use this evidence-based method, which leaves many children struggling unnecessarily.
At Empower Education Services, every reading tutor is extensively trained in Structured Literacy methods, including the Orton-Gillingham approach. We specialize in giving children the tools they need to succeed, helping them build confidence and achieve lasting results.
